Ladiesroom
Ladiesroom is a social network / online magazine made for and by women.
The main feature of this project is to allow users to write posts from the front-office, and a whole new administration interface for selection, correction and validation of the articles promoted on the homepage.
You can also find an extended user-profile including an avatar builder, and friends list.
Ladiesroom in numbers: 6.739 registered users, 7.348 articles, 49.801 comments and 3.554 private messages sent.
Technically it is an heavily customized WordPress (2.3.3). One of the key aspect of the development is to use the most of the WordPress plugin filter/action system, to limit specific functionalities and allow easy migration to future versions of WordPress.
